Quotes and pricing
How do I get a quote?
Use the quote button on any page, call +1 (289) 925-3308 or email windfeldpainting@gmail.com. We will arrange a quick visit and send a written, itemized quote.
Is there a minimum job size?
No job is too small to ask about. Single rooms, a front door, one accent wall: we are happy to quote them all, and we will tell you if grouping jobs together would save you money.
How is a painting quote calculated?
By the amount of surface, the amount of trim and doors, the condition of the walls, the number of colours and coats, and any prep or repairs required. Everything is itemized.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Ask us when you request a quote and we will explain the payment options available for your project.
Prep and process
Do I need to move furniture?
No. We move and wrap furniture, cover floors and protect fixtures. Clearing small items and wall art ahead of time helps.
Do you repair walls before painting?
Standard prep (nail holes, small cracks, caulking and spot priming) is included. Larger drywall or plaster repairs are quoted separately so there are no surprises.
Do you remove wallpaper?
Yes. Wallpaper removal and the wall repair that usually follows are quoted after we see the walls.
How do you keep my home clean?
Drop cloths, plastic sheeting, masking and daily tidy-ups. We leave each room cleaner than we found it.
Paint and finishes
Which paint brands do you use?
Premium products from the major Canadian paint brands, matched to the surface and the room. We are happy to recommend specific lines during your quote.
Are your paints low-VOC?
Yes. We use low-odour, low-VOC paints as standard, and zero-VOC options are available on request.
Which sheen should I use?
Flat for ceilings, matte or eggshell for most walls, satin or semi-gloss for trim, doors and cabinets. Read our room-by-room sheen guide for details.
Can you match an existing colour?
Yes. Bring us a chip, a sample or a photo and we will match it.
Timing and scheduling
How far in advance should I book?
Interior work can often start within a couple of weeks. Exteriors book up from spring through early autumn, so request a quote early in the year to lock in dates.
Do you work evenings or weekends?
For commercial clients, yes. For homes, we work standard weekday hours unless we agree otherwise.
What happens if it rains during an exterior job?
We pause and resume when surfaces are dry. Weather delays are built into exterior schedules.

Do you charge for travel?
